Material characteristics
Solid wood: Solid wood cabinets have high requirements for wood species consistency, overall natural beauty, high strength and long service life. The disadvantages are high price and poor moisture resistance.
Plywood: Plywood is also called multi-layer board, which is made of three or more layers of veneer by gluing and hot pressing. Its structure is layered, the veneer texture is perpendicular or angled to each other, with high strength and not easy to crack and deform. The surface treatment is diverse, can imitate a variety of textures, and the price is more affordable than solid wood. Be sure to pay attention to the environmental protection level when purchasing, and you can choose E0 or E1 grade boards.
Particle board: It is made of wood or other wood cellulose materials, which are glued together under heat and pressure after applying adhesive. The structure is uniform, the processing performance is good, and the sound absorption and sound insulation performance is good. The surface is flat and delicate, the stability is good, the material is uniform, and the first nail holding force is strong. But the edge is rough, easy to absorb moisture, and the moisture resistance is general.
Density board: Made of wood fiber or other plant fiber, prepared by fiber, applied with synthetic resin, and made under heating and pressure conditions. It is divided into low, medium and high density boards according to density. It has uniform structure, fine material, smooth surface, and is suitable for processing into various shapes, such as molded board, blister board, etc. It has good strength and rigidity, good bending and compression resistance. But it has poor moisture resistance and weak nail holding force.

Application scenario
Solid wood: Solid wood cabinets can be integrated with modern design elements, coordinated with the simple style, and enhance the overall beauty of the space through natural texture and texture.
Plywood: Due to its good moisture resistance, it is suitable for relatively humid environments such as kitchens. It can be used to make cabinet bodies, door panels, etc. It can withstand large weights and ensure the stability of cabinets for long-term use.
Particle board: Commonly used for cabinet bodies and doors in dry areas of cabinets. It is one of the mainstream boards used in current custom cabinets for the whole house, especially imported particle boards, which have good comprehensive performance and relatively low production costs.
Density board: suitable for making cabinet doors in dry areas, often used to create American pastoral style, light luxury style and other cabinets, and can be processed into special finishes to meet different style requirements.
