Base material
1. Ecological board: made of wooden strips and decorated with decorative paintings on the surface
Advantages: easy to process, good environmental protection, no odor
Disadvantages: soft texture, high price, poor nail-holding ability, easy to fall off and deform due to non-adhesive edge sealing
Scope of application: wardrobe and sideboard cabinets

2. Particle board: Fast-growing wood and recycled wood are crushed into particles through heavy machinery, and then made by spraying glue and high-temperature hot pressing.
Advantages: good sound insulation, environmentally friendly, cost-effective
Disadvantages: Not waterproof, poor nail holding power, difficult to operate on construction sites
Scope of application: Dry areas other than kitchens and bathrooms, suitable for cabinet doors

3. European pine board: The wood is first processed into sheets, then laid flat in a certain direction, and then hot-pressed to form interlaced sheet fibers.
Advantages: Strong nail holding power, strong load-bearing capacity, good waterproof performance, uniform material, excellent flatness, and extremely high strength
Disadvantages: high price, rougher surface than other boards
Scope of application: Suitable for cabinets and cabinet doors

4. Density board: Plant fiber that grinds raw materials into fine powder. Because the particles of the board are very fine, it can be easily processed into various exaggerated shapes, such as European style, etc.
Advantages: easy processing, easy shaping, impact resistance, good flatness
Disadvantages: Not resistant to moisture, poor nail holding power
Scope of application: Suitable for styling cabinet doors, not suitable for cabinet bodies

5. Solid wood multi-layer board: First use a rotary cutting machine to cut the wood into thin slices, then stack the glue-covered wood slices layer by layer, and finally press the laminates under high pressure
Advantages: stable structure, good moisture resistance, strong nail holding power, high cost performance, good load-bearing capacity
Disadvantages: poor flatness, not suitable for modeling, easy to deform
Scope of application: Wardrobe cabinets, bathroom cabinets, cabinets with low height and small area

Edge sealing
EVA edge sealing: easy to crack and overflow, with obvious glue lines. It is normal for the glue lines to turn black. It is not friendly to light-colored boards.

PUR edge sealing: irreversible, strong stability, and the effect is second only to laser edge sealing

Laser edge sealing: smooth and beautiful, high saturation, environmentally friendly, no glue volatilize, high cost

Finishes
1. Melamine impregnated adhesive film paper facing: Melamine board is made by soaking paper with different colors or textures in ecological board resin adhesive and then drying
It is dried to a certain degree of solidification, paved on the surface of the base material, and formed into a decorative board by hot pressing.
Advantages: Affordable, good wear resistance, anti-scratch
Disadvantages: high edge sealing requirements
Applicable styles: minimalist style, Nordic style, log style
2. PVC coating facing: often used with medium density board as the base material, usually found in European, American and light luxury styles. PVC coating is very soft and suitable for complex concave and convex shapes.
Advantages: Not easy to crack and deform, wear-resistant and scratch-resistant, convenient and simple for daily care and maintenance, no edge sealing required
Disadvantages: fear of burning
3. Paint finish: Painted door panels mostly use density board as the base material, with melamine on the back and imported paint sprayed on the surface six times (three bottoms, two sides, one gloss)baked at high temperature.
Advantages: good surface finish, easy to scrub, good waterproof and moisture-proof performance, no need for additional edge sealing, mostly used in modern and simple style, suitable for kitchen, dining cabinets, or TV cabinets
Disadvantages: complex process, long processing cycle, high price
Applicable style: light luxury, modern
4. Solid wood veneer: Cut the logs into veneers of 0.1MM to 1.0MM, and go through processes such as soaking and drying. Then cover the base with treated wood veneer
Material. The base material can be particle board, density board or finger-jointed board.
Advantages: high-end atmosphere, good feel
Disadvantages: Poor waterproof and fireproof performance, easy to deform and crack, high price
Applicable styles: New Chinese style, Japanese style, retro style
Glue
Formaldehyde-containing glue:
① Urea-formaldehyde resin glue: Urea-formaldehyde resin glue is widely used in artificial panels due to its simple manufacturing, convenient use, low cost and good performance. Although urea-formaldehyde resin glue is defective, it is easy to produce free formaldehyde at room temperature, polluting indoor air. However, due to its low price, it is incomparable to other glues, but it is still the main glue used by many big brands, because even the same kind of glue is divided into good and bad. The urea-formaldehyde resin glue used by big brands has low formaldehyde content and high environmental protection level. , the cost is also relatively higher, so when purchasing, try to look for big brands and choose ones with high environmental protection levels.
②Phenolic resin glue: Phenolic resin glue is water-resistant, wear-resistant, heat-resistant, and has good chemical stability. The use of phenolic resin glue is second only to urea-formaldehyde resin glue. The disadvantages are high brittleness, low peel strength, and intolerance to impact and vibration. It requires high temperature and high pressure for a long time to cure, resulting in a larger shrinkage and darker color of the adhesive layer. Phenolic resin glue also contains formaldehyde, but phenolic resin glue can also be used to make E0 grade boards.
Formaldehyde-free glue:
① Soybean gum: An adhesive made from soybean meal by reacting with other water solvents and substances. The material is natural and does not contain harmful substances such as formaldehyde and benzene. However, because soybean glue itself is not strong enough to be used alone, it must be used in conjunction with other glues. Although soybean glue itself is aldehyde-free, it is used in conjunction with other glues when bonding, so soybean glue sheets are not truly formaldehyde-free glue.
②MDI glue: The synthetic raw material of MDI does not contain formaldehyde. MDI glue is made of MDI and polyol as raw materials. The final cured glue is obtained through chemical reaction. MDI glue does not evaporate toxic components in its solid state, so MDI glue is safe. Since glue is also used in various aspects during the processing of the board, MDI glue is used for the board.

Hardware

1. Hinge:
①Quick installation hinge: easy to install and not easy to loosen later

2.Slide rail:
①Side rails: suitable for wardrobe drawers
② Horse riding pump: good bearing capacity, expensive, suitable for use in cabinets
③ Bottom rail: good load-bearing but takes up space, not suitable for wardrobes
3. Air support: generally used on wall cabinets or tatami mats. It is recommended to choose one that can be stopped at will and can be supported at any height.
